Dr Kofi Anie is the Psychology Service Lead for children and adults with sickle cell disease and thalassaemia at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, and the Deputy Clinical Director of the West London Haemoglobinopathies Coordinating Centre.
Dr Anie is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He is a collaborator on international initiatives including the West African Genetic Medicine Centre (WAGMC), and the Ethics and Community Engagement Core Leader of SickleGenAfrica. He was awarded with Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for Services to People with Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassaemia in the 2017 Queen�s Birthday Honours.
