Dr Patricia Aguilar Martinez
Dr Patricia Aguilar Martinez is a medical doctor and PhD, Professor of Hematology, at the University and Hospital (CHU) of Montpellier, France. She is qualified in Medical Biology, Hematology and Human genetics.
She is currently the head of the Department of hematology biology and the coordinator of the Reference Centre on rare red cell and iron disorders the University Hospital of Montpellier, and a member as HCP of the European Reference Network on hematological diseases, Eurobloodnet.
She has been collaborating with the WHO Human Genetic programme since 2001, and has participated in several WHO reports and expert meetings. She is currently the head of the WHO collaborating center for global prevention and management of genetic disorders in hematology.
