Set her career by implementation of public health policies in the State of Rio de Janeiro, and care for hematological diseases. Part of scientific community for Sickle Cell Disease with numerous scientific papers published in the area. Effective member in the elaboration of Brazilian protocols and training manuals with a strong impact on the evolution of attention to the Disease Sickle cell in Brazil.
Former Technical and General Director of HEMORIO from 1994 to 2007. Currently performing her activities as a HEMORIO Researcher in SCD.
