Dr. Raffaella Colombatti is pediatric hematologist oncologist at the Azienda Ospedale – Università di Padova were she is Representative of the Red Blood Cell Disorder Subnetwork for the European Reference Network EuroBloodNet. She is the co-founder and co-director of the Veneto Region Reference Center for the Diagnosis, Treatment and Care of Sickle Cell Disease in Childhood. Since 2018 she is Coordinator of the red Cell Disorder Working Group of the Italian Association of Pediatric Hematology Oncology (AIEOP). She is interested in the natural history and cerebrovascular complications of sickle cell disease, in clinical trials,  and in child global health
